we felt very comfortable and incredibly well looked after, no matter whether we needed extra hangers or a hair dryer. rooms are very large, great shower, separate washbasin and very comfortable beds. hosts are exceptionally nice, breakfast is sufficient and very tasty, fruit and yoghurt as much as you like.
everything was perfect for us

classic american motel with neon signs and even a pool! staff was very friendly and helpful - small tip of the reception: asheville pizza & brewing co. who likes pizza etc. beer and likes to go to an alternative/exceptional ambience should have a look there. there is also an adjacent hall with a bar, where you can enjoy your meal even during film screenings or other events.
equipment is still from the last decade, this fits very well to the overall impression of a typical american motel and has its own charm.

Very easy access and close to Asheville. The staff who welcomed us was very nice. Really easy to find and close to Asheville. People who welcomed us were very nice
The rooms need a complete renovation. My credit card didn't work and they don't have the device to pass the chip and enter the pin code on the card. Rooms need complete renovation

for one night the motel is fine.
air conditioning system cannot be controlled individually for each room. only the reception can control the air conditioning for all rooms -> if it is too cold, temperature in all rooms will be raised :/
