I enjoyed the high water pressure in the shower.
The room had serious issues that ruined my stay. It was uncomfortably cold at night since I couldn’t control the temperature myself. I also noticed dirt in the corners and felt that the carpeting was dirty, making me question the overall cleanliness of the place.

The Mountaineer Inn has a unique charm that feels
like a step back in time. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I loved the retro decor, but the noise from neighboring rooms was rather disruptive at night. Overall, a comfortable stay in a quirky spot.

would definitely return here

Not what I expected
Checked in and got a weird vibe right away. The back area feels sketchy with shady characters hanging around. The room was okay but had some issues like a hole in the washcloth. Continental breakfast was cool, though! Next time, I'll definitely ask for a room in the front. Just not a fan of the back section. 🤷♂️

A separate thermostat in each room would be ideal!!! Having a lock on the bathroom door would add a level of security and comfort!!!
